It's pantomime time, oh yes it is!
Who doesn’t love a pantomime! We went to see Beauty and the Beast at the New Wolsey Theatre in Ipswich, oh yes we did… We even met up with some of pantomime characters. It’s experiences like these that make a world of difference to the people we support. A small donation could help us to fund other, similar life-affirming activities.

A Christmas message from Peter Calderbank, our CEO
It's Christmas party time at Field Lane As we approach Christmas Day, we want to say a big thank you to all our supporters. We really do appreciate your continued support of Field Lane. With your help we have been able to make a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care, enabling them to become more independent and to lead fulfilling lives. Remembering Jeremy Lamb, ex-CEO of Field Lane
It is with sadness that we’ve heard of the death of Jeremy Lamb, who was CEO of Field Lane for over 20 years, from 1992 to 2014. He leaves a great legacy, having built solid foundations during his time at Field Lane. Under his leadership the charity grew in strength and reach, helping more vulnerable people and enabling them to lead more independent and fulfilling lives. We send our heartfelt condolences to his wife, Linda and to his family. May he rest in peace.

A Christmas for Carole: From Darkness to Light
Inspired by Dickens. Made possible by compassion. At Field Lane, we believe everyone deserves a safe Christmas filled with dignity and light. This year, we’re sharing A Christmas for Carole — a story inspired by one of the women we’ve supported at Andrew Provan House. Her name has been changed to protect her identity, but her story represents the strength and courage of many people in our care. The Ghost of Christmas Past There was a time when Carole’s Christmases were silen

Remembrance Day Parade
Our Christopher (4th on the left) joins Cllr Louise Ashbery, the Lady Mayor for Surrey Heath for the Remembrance Day Parade today in Camberley. Encouraging the people we support to get involved with and be part of their local community, is an important part of our approach to care. Christopher loves joining in and enjoyed today's parade.

Giving thanks at harvest time
Now October has arrived, it’s time to celebrate at the Harvest Festival and give thanks for all the food grown and gathered from the land. It’s also a time to share our harvest with others, especially those less fortunate. At Field Lane we’ve been busy tending to the flowers and vegetables grown in our own gardens, getting the beds ready before winter sets in. Having an outdoor space to plant and grow different produce is so important for the people we support. It helps in de

Moving into autumn's equinox
Next week is the autumn equinox, which happens every September. It’s a beautiful time of year when trees turn golden and are laden with fruit - from acorns to apples. We like to go for a walk in the local park or just around our garden, to see the changing season. Getting out and about is so important for the people we support, not only for physical health but also for mental wellbeing. That’s why we have a garden area in all our projects. Maintaining these outdoor spaces is

Up, up and away!
The people we support enjoy learning about new things. During the summer holidays, Chris took a trip to the Army Flying Museum near Salisbury. He was fascinated by the aircraft and even got to sit behind the controls! Days out like these are so important in building confidence and learning to be independent. Can you help us to pay for more trips like this one?
