When you join our team at Field Lane, you'll experience a variety of different roles. As well as a professional carer and support worker, you will also be an educator. You will be helping the people we support to become an inclusive part of their communities. In your role as a carer, you will be helping them to lead more independent and fulfilling lives.
It is a very rewarding job. Even though the role can be challenging at times, making a positive difference to someone’s life, and helping them become more independent brings a feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction. It’s a great career choice for those who enjoy a varied job role and lots of interaction with others.
It’s a responsible job but we support you throughout, providing training and helping you to develop more knowledge and understanding. There are also opportunities to progress further, for example taking a professional qualification and the possibility of taking on a manager role.
