We've had a busy week promoting autism acceptance

Updated: Aug 9, 2022

We’ve been busy celebrating World Autism Acceptance Week and the 60th anniversary of the National Autistic Society. We decorated our walls with handmade posters. We took part in a spectrum walk, a challenge set by the National Autism Society as a fun and inspiring way for like-minded people to meet. We also set our own running challenge at home on the treadmill! Following a ‘cook off’, we created a special week’s menu – with a tasty dish every day. All this was in aid of raising awareness and helping to create a society that works for people with autism. At Field Lane we’re proud to have been accredited by the National Autistic Society. With more acceptance, understanding and a few simple adjustments, more people with autism will be able to reach their full potential.
