Our Coronavirus Appeal reaches £20k
It has been five months since we launched our emergency Coronavirus appeal. The response has been overwhelming. To date, we have received £20,000 in donations to this appeal, all of which has been put towards purchasing essential PPE and related supplies: surgical gloves, facemasks and gowns; alcohol gels and wipes; sanitiser stations; mop buckets and other deep cleaning products. This is equipment we would not normally need buy in bulk, but the Covid-19 crisis has forced us to purchase it on an ongoing basis.
We are so grateful to all our donors. The money has helped to keep all our clients and staff safe.
As we make plans for easing out of lockdown, we need to continue to ensure we have enough supplies so that our clients and teams of staff that care for them remain safe and well cared for.
Most of our usual fundraising activity was suspended at the start of lockdown. So, every pound raised through our emergency appeal fund has made an enormous difference and enabled us to continue to provide vital support to our clients during this period of crisis.
We still need your support. Please donate and help us to survive this crisis and beyond.
