We’re delighted to have received another life-saving donation for our Coronavirus appeal. The Fowler Smith & Jones Trust has awarded Field Lane a generous grant for our Essex-based projects.
Seven months in and we are still needing to keep up with the extra costs of ensuring our clients and staff stay safe and healthy, as the pandemic continues to keep us all on high alert.
Our fundraising has been adversely affected by the Coronavirus crisis and yet our costs have continued to rise. Our priority is the health and wellbeing of our clients and the staff who care for them. We need to make sure we have enough of PPE and related supplies on an ongoing basis.
With the help of our generous donors, we have managed to keep up the demand for PPE across all our projects. The extra income raised has literally saved lives. It has also helped give our clients and staff peace of mind.
The impact of this on the wellbeing of our our clients has been very positive. Knowing our clients are being kept safe, staff have been able to focus on finding creative ways to keep clients stimulated and occupied. The challenges of coping with a lockdown are more acute for our clients whose learning disabilities are often complicated by additional mental health-related issues. Keeping calm and reducing stress are critical to helping our clients manage and develop skills that will help them to lead more independent and fulfilling lives.
We need your support in order to survive this crisis. Please donate to our appeal today. Thank you. https://fieldlane.enthuse.com/donate#!/
