Motivational Speaker Visits Andrew Provan House

Thank you to Chris Moon MBE for conducting a motivational workshop with the homeless women at Andrew Provan House. Chris is a truly inspirational figure, having lost his lower arm and leg while clearing landmines in Africa, he would go on to compete in ultra-marathons all over the world. He is also one of the few Westerners to have survived being taken prisoner by Khmer Rouge Guerrillas.

The workshop was focused on “seeing the ability not the vulnerability” with the aim of helping our clients to move from dependency to independence. It was attended by several clients from Andrew Provan House and Dashwood House, with all costs kindly met by sponsorship from Maria Stewart-Williams, a supporter of the charity.
