Making caring visible and valued

This week is Carers Week. It’s more important than ever that we recognise the crucial role carers play in our local community. The Covid crisis has put the spotlight on the amazing work carers do in supporting and caring for the most vulnerable people in our society.

Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, in particular of unpaid carers, to recognise the challenges they face and help them to access much-needed support.

With carers in focus we also want to take the opportunity to recognise our own carers, who provide such high-quality care for our clients, without which they would not achieve their goal of living independent and fulfilling lives.
