We were delighted to officially open our new project in Merstham, Surrey last week. The project provides supported living for six young adults with a learning disability.
The official opening was performed by George, Earl of Haddo, our President. As part of a short ceremony he unveiled a small plaque to mark the occasion and planted a tree, kindly donated by the parents of one of our clients at the project. Our Chair, Alex MacDonald, also said a few words and our Chief Executive, Peter Calderbank, led us in a prayer for the project. The official ceremony was followed by some light refreshments and was considered a success by all who attended, including the residents and their families.
