Furniture Box names Field Lane as its charity of the year

Field Lane has been chosen as ‘Charity of the Year’ by Furniture Box, the online furniture store. Founded three years by two young entrepreneurs, Dan Beckles and Monty George, their venture has gone from strength to strength.

Co-founder, Dan Beckles said: “We are delighted to have named Field Lane as our chosen charity for the year. After donating furniture to one of the charity’s projects and seeing the positive impact the charity has on so many individual lives, we decided that Field Lane was an ideal charity for us to support.

“Having started our business at the age of 18, we know how hard it can be to get a head start in life. So it made us appreciate all the more the work Field Lane does supporting vulnerable people and helping them to tackle the immense challenges they face, enabling them to go on to live more stable and independent lives.

“Field Lane’s work quite literally changes lives. Being able to be a part of such a wonderful charity is an honour. We hope to continue to support Field Lane not only this year but also in years to come.”
