Allchurches Trust donations will change lives

Our supported living projects give adults with learning disabilities the opportunity to have their own living space and to live independent lives.

Field Lane was recently awarded a substantial grant from Allchurches Trust, one of the UK’s largest grant-giving charities, towards purchasing a new house in Frimley, Surrey. The house is to be adapted into a six-bedroom supported living home for adults with learning disabilities.

Allchurches previously gave a grant to Field Lane’s Andrew Provan House for repair and renovation of the building, which provides a home and personalised support for vulnerable families in London.

The funding for these two major projects, collectively almost £20,000, is life-changing and will enable the charity to continue to provide support, care and accommodation for adults with learning disabilities and vulnerable families.

Peter Calderbank, CEO of Field Lane, said: “Many of our clients can struggle to integrate into our society, given their condition and the circumstances in which they find themselves, through no fault of their own. One of our principle aims is to enrich their lives in ways that exceed expectations. We support our clients to be independent and make their own choices. The grants from Allchurches will go a long way in enabling us to continue to fulfill our ambition for all our clients.”
