As an organisation that believes our staff make a real difference to people’s lives we have always felt that we need to invest in our people. We were, therefore, delighted when this was officially recognized by the Investors in People standard. This is a standard that aims to define what it takes to lead, support and manage people well for sustainable results.
In the report the assessor said that there is “a very strong ethos and culture around being caring, delivering a person centred service and acting with dignity and respect”. She also said that “people really love working for Field Lane because they like the people they work with and the support available to them. They are fully committed to delivering a high quality service”. While we knew this to be the case it was great to see it officially recognized.
