Testimonials
My husband visited and we played the accordion together for the other
ladies and gentlemen who live at The Priory.’

I spent time with my daughter in the morning and played golf in the grounds with the chef in the afternoon. It was good fun.

‘The family feel that The Priory care for our relative extremely well in very difficult circumstances. A lot of time is spent writing things down as she is completely deaf. Also, they try and encourage her to join in activities as she has become a recluse. The family are extremely grateful to all The Priory staff’
“I was very impressed with the quality of day care provided by Day Breaks, and would like to congratulate Paul, Jacky and the care team on what they have achieved – it was great to see such a personal, flexible and caring service in operation…”
Nicky Lappin, Research and Information Manager, The Tudor Trust
…It’s the added things that mean a lot to us as a family and to mum – people taking the trouble to sit and chat to her and make her feel at home when we are not there. Each time that we visit mum is calm and happy – seeing her settled has helped us to come to terms with the situation in a much better way than I could ever have imagined.
Relative’s feedback
“We want people to use this place as their own home. The real world is down the end of the drive, and, with appropriate support we encourage our residents to go there. We have a lady who goes to college, one has just started horse riding, an-other is a regular swimmer and other residents have joined local keep fit classes. I tell our families and carers that they are welcome to come and visit, any time of day, the door is always open and so is the kitchen. However, their relatives might not be in they might be out enjoying life!”
Allena Edwards-Priory home manager.

‘We can see the ‘extra mile’ attention that is given. Always cheerful and you can see that the residents enjoy the activities.’
Resident’s daughter
I can’t say in words really how I feel about the care and attention that mum gets at The Priory. But I know her happiness is the staff ’s priority and it’s unbelievable the care that she gets. From top to bottom everybody pulls together for the end user and that means so much to me and my family. Thanks a million.
