A fantastic neighbourhood |
Jean has been living at Ashdown Close for three years and applied for a flat when she had problems with a difficult neighbour and started to feel very unhappy. When she was offered a flat by Field Lane she felt very relieved that she was to move to a peaceful and stimulating place that had a reasonable rent. Tenants are different ages with different physical conditions so they are all very supportive of each other and take care of more vulnerable neighbours. With other tenants, Jean organises tea afternoons on Wednesdays and fundraising events such as raffles. The atmosphere is very good with tenants often planning holidays together. |
